JDX for Legal has a practice of over 75 staff, who have successfully delivered and worked with top tier investment, wholesale and retail banks, utilities and law firms, on generation, regeneration and digitisation, as well as analysis of legal documentation in response to regulatory and business requirements.
Our legal consultants are trained through the JDX Academy to gain technical knowledge on capital markets, investment banking and core skills such as project and stakeholder management, presentation and leadership training. All of our legal consultants have also undergone the JDX for Legal syllabus. This covers training on legal principles such as contract and tax law, as well as training on transactional and relationship agreements and the skills of drafting and negotiation.

Matthew is a qualified Barrister and Master of Laws with experience managing global, large scale change and implementation programmes across Tier 1 Investment Banks.
Matthew leads the JDX for Legal and Document Digitisation practices. Since joining JDX in 2012, Matthew has been responsible for building the JDX for Legal practice to over 90 consultants in London and New York. He concurrently manages numerous projects and client relationships and specialises in requirement gathering, business analysis and delivery of projects.
Matthew has deep expertise in legal documentation, data extraction and utilisation of data. He advises on legal automation to assist with modernisation and regulatory and operational challenges.
Prior to this Matthew worked within the Front Office of a Tier 1 Investment Bank to analyse, design and implement strategic controls globally where there was legal or regulatory risk to the bank. This involved changing the processes and practices to ensure operational efficiency and legal and regulatory compliance.
Matthew has managed numerous projects to design and implement solutions to clients EMIR, Dodd-Frank, CASS, FCA and ESMA requirements. He has worked on and managed projects within the Front Office, Operations, Legal and Change departments of Investment Banks and other financial institutions.
