TOM BINKS (NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR)

Tom is a 30 year veteran of the international capital markets.     

 

Tom trained with Arthur Andersen, before moving to Manufacturers Hanover Limited / Chemical Bank. During a 16 year career at the bank, he set up the Global Derivatives business and eventually was made Co-head, Head of International and Head of Europe. After leaving Chemical Bank in 1994, Tom ran the Global Derivatives businesses at Standard Chartered and Bank of America retiring from Bank of America in 1999 following their acquisition by Nations bank.

 

Over the next 10 years, Tom worked to set up an online derivatives brokerage called ICor which was subsequently sold to Reuters, worked for Reuters and then spent three years as one of the two directors of IPGL, the Holding Company for Michael Spencer’s family interests, retiring in 2009.  

 

Tom joined JDX in 2012where he is a Non-Executive Board Director.
